Ms. Madanumbal Boolell

Ms. Madanumbal Boolell worked at the Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation for 23 years from 1967 to 1990 as a presenter, newscaster, reporter and live broadcast commentator for radio and television. She also served as a senior producer and program organizer.
Ms. Boolell also worked as a trainer for the television training team for African countries at L’Ecole Internationale de Bordeaux, France. She is a member of URTNA, the African Radio and Television Union, and a member of CIRTEF, the Conseil International des radios et télévisions d’Expression Française.
From 1991 to 2002, Ms. Boolell worked at the British Council as manager of resources and partnerships, dealing with overseas offices, the press, art and cultural institutions, and the Office of the President of Mauritius.
