When can I submit my abstract for the IFA 14th Global Conference on Ageing?
The call for abstracts is now open and submissions will be accepted until 1 December 2017. To submit an abstract, presenters must first register. A link to the Presentation Portal, where abstracts are to be submitted, will be e-mailed to presenters upon registration. Once you submit your abstract you will receive a confirmation email, if you do not receive the email or you are having trouble submitting your abstract please contact Ms Tarah McMaster at email@example.com.
In what language should my abstract be submitted?
All abstracts must be submitted in English as it is the main language of the conference.
What should I do if I am having technical difficulties?
Trying a different browser, such as Google Chrome, may solve technical difficulties. Follow these instructions to ensure your version of Google Chrome is up-to-date.

Are figures, tables, and images accepted within the abstract submission portal?
No, submissions must be written in plain text.
How should I decide which session format to submit?
Abstracts for oral and poster presentations, symposiums, and workshops are being accepted. Guidelines for each presentation format are available here.
When will I receive a confirmation that the abstract has been received?
An acknowledgement of receipt will be sent via e-mail within thirty minutes of submission.
Can another delegate present my paper as I am unable to attend the meeting?
Unfortunately, no; the only option is to withdraw the abstract. If this is the case, please inform the IFA as soon as possible.
Is financial support available to presenters?
Financial support is not available to presenters unless Presenter is an approved Bursary applicant. See Bursary Guidelines for more information.

How can I find out about volunteer opportunities?
Please visit our volunteer page for more information including the expression of interest form. Volunteer manual and schedule will be posted in late Spring 2018.
Do you provide travel assistance to volunteers?
The IFA thanks all interested in volunteering, however volunteers are expected to cover any travel and accommodation costs they would need.
Do you accommodate disabilities or special assistance?
Absolutely, please identify through email and the IFA will work with you to accommodate.
